The Loire Valley

The Loire Valley can sometimes be overlooked in the UK for some of France's traditionally more popular regions like Burgundy or Bordeaux. And we don't think that's very fair. The Loire – France's longest river – runs from central France, alongside oak forests that supply the barrel industry, past the great Sauvignon Blanc regions of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé; flowing west through the Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc heartlands of Anjou, Vouvray and Saumur before reaching the Atlantic near Nantes and the wine region of Muscadet. So. Much. To. Love. Join us for an evening where we celebrate all things Loire through the prism of 6 authentic Loire wines (as well as a glass of sparkling on arrival), paired with a board of nibbles, charcuterie and cheeses.
